I'm Mark Eyesan — a Film Director and Visual Storyteller based in Lagos, Nigeria.My work sits at the intersection of African mythology, emotional truth,
and the art of animation. I don't just direct stories — I build worlds
that carry the weight of cultural memory while speaking to universal
human experience.As Film & Creative Director at TAEPS Animation Studios, I'm currently
directing Adétóún and the Heart of Time — a feature-length 3D animated
film rooted in Yoruba cosmology. Independently, I directed
The Spirit of Dambe (Love & Legacy) (2024), and I'm developing Adùnní,
an original 2D animated short about voice, identity, and what we carry
when we leave home.I've worked across the full animation pipeline since 2017 — environments,
lighting, rendering, look development, VFX, and colour grading — which
means I direct with a craftsman's understanding of every frame.My mission is simple: to tell stories that prove African animation
belongs on every screen in the world.
